American Psychological Association (APA) is one of the most respected Professional and Psychological organizations in the United States of America. American Psychological Association presents the members with an opportunity to learn on the subjects that challenge the youths; drugs, aging, sexuality, trauma, parenting, etc that mostly affect the youth in our country.

APA offers a wide range of trainings to especially the youth that includes high quality counseling aimed at uniting the society. The association offers some of the most advanced trainings and seminars aimed at empowering the youth and stimulating their consciences to realize growth and development in their areas of service. The Association has been active in developing new innovative learning strategies that making learning in training institutions and makes learning much easier and more fun (Garger, 1999, p.36).

The organization is focused to improve the quality of counseling both in public and in the learning institutions; to ensure top quality of counseling services; APA recognizes some of the most successive researchers and psychologist each year. The Association is renown in the society and the products from here are highly regarded in public both locally and internationally.

Psychological training is essential in my field of training and improves my skill in handling social issues and problems (Robert, 2000, p.20). All students undertaking psychology training elsewhere are eligible to become members of APA. The Association offers its members with online resource and other links to extra resources (apa.org).

The association gives the member electronic newsletters which are more convenient to the online users. It also issue members with interacts that keep them posted on possible opportunities that they can take part in, also giving the other timely information on the internet (Garger, 1999, p.36). The Association also works with student, satisfied planners and other members on internet publications and other APA prints (apa.org).

Members are not required to subscribe annually to access Journal from APA, and they are also entitled to addition benefits. The Association offers doctoral degree on specialized programs in psychology from recognized universities and schools. The Association offers accredited directorates to the members.

APA membership gives you a direct membership to APAPO- American Psychological Association Practice Organization which is an independent entity from APA. The membership enables parties to operate on behalf of consumers in healthcare, education and practitioner in this field (apa.org).

The APA offers a program in Workplace Psychology Health which is aimed at improving the relationship between the employees and the employers and also improving the quality of service delivery by the employees. With this program, active and dedicated employees are awarded accordingly. The incentives offered at the work place encourage other employees to step up their efforts in service delivery (Garger, 1999, p.36).
