Cape Fear 2 is a horrible film full of thriller and action. The most horrible scene of the film is the last fighting between Cady and Sam’s family, which finally made the film as an absolutely thriller film. The scene was on the boat, trough which Sam and his family were running away. But Cady attacked the boat from back and defeated temporarily Sam’s family. The situation was so horrible where Sam was tied up and his wife and daughter were preparing to rape. In this scene not only Cady’s actions were horrible but also the surrounding environment was horrible. In one hand it was uncertain that how Sam, Leigh and Danielle will be escaped from Cady and at the other hand strong storm was going on. At the same time dark night and frequent thunder lighting shaped the film with more horror. How Sam and his family were escaped that also was a horrible way. Danielle escaped herself burning Cady through his lighter fluid while he lights a cigar for which Cady had to jump to the water from the boat, this portrayed the intelligence of Danielle. And Sam was escaped when the boat was smashed for violent storm. At the ultimate hour Cady and Sam were face to face where they fought each other, and on a time Sam crushed Cady’s head with a large stone, which cause Cady to die. The last half hour of the film is absolutely horrible and this half hour portrayed that how much Cady disturbed Sam’s life and endangered his family. The entire film Cady’s role portrayed that how much a man can be violent for his desired revenge, but the scene of last half hour portrayed that how much a man can be violent for protecting himself as well as his family. The story of the film was not only horrible but also it was represented technically very well. The fighting techniques were so real so that it can be compared with the practical life. The close-up shots were severe and shocking. At the time of action while the camera was whipping around with great urgency and also the frame shots were beautiful. It also should mention the used sound techniques of the film, which was amazing and emphasized on the film’s thrill. At the last scene the combination of sound of storm, wind, thunder, rain, shouting, fighting created an extra appeal to the audiences. The language used in the film is English and the secondary subtitles are English, French and Spanish so that all the people of these languages can understand the entire film since they are of nearly similar culture.
These two scenes can be said the best scenes of the entire film, one of which portrayed villain’s seductive power and another portrayed film’s thrill.
